Sanction or Justification? Junior Researchers Examine the Conditions of Existence of Normative Orders
15 October 2009
From October 23 to 25 the first Junior Researcher Conference of the Cluster of Excellence "The Formation of Normative Orders" will be held in Frankfurt with a broad thematic focus on "Justification and Sanction".
The international conference, in which over 60 young scholars representing more than 35 universities from nine different countries will participate, will be organised by doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows drawn from all of the disciplines represented in the Cluster.
In a total of eleven panels, the researchers will take an interdisciplinary approach to the question of the importance of justifications and sanctions for the existence of normative orders. The organisers look forward to a lively, stimulating, and informative meeting of the promising young academics.
