Marital Status: Married to Paul W. Warner, 2 children Emma (2007) and Sophia (2009)
After having studied mathematics, history of mathematics and Egyptology,I am working on the history of pre-Greek mathematics, specifically contexts, techniques and transmission of ancient Egyptian mathematics from the invention of writing (around 3000 BCE) until the Graeco-Roman period

State Examination Mathematics, Chemistry (Erstes Staatsexamen) 1996, Gutenberg-University Mainz.
Doctorate in History of Mathematics (summa cum laude) 2002, Gutenberg-University Mainz.
Dissertation title: Ägyptische Algorithmen. Eine Untersuchung zu den mittelägyptischen mathematischen Aufgabentexten (Ägyptologische Abhandlungen 65), Wiesbaden: Harrassowitz 2003.
