Zwischen Säkularisierung und Religiosität: Reformbewegungen im islamischen Bildungswesen in Sansibar (Between Secularisation and Religiosity: Reform Movements in the Islamic Education System in Zanzibar)

Brief description of research topic

Dieses Projekt dient der Beantwortung der Frage, inwiefern das produktive Zusammenspiel von Säkularisierung und Religiosität im Kontext islamischer Bildungsreformen in Qur’anschulen in Sansibar, Tansania intra-muslimische Spannungen zugunsten von Liberalisierung und Radikalisierung beeinflusst und die Relevanz von Religiosität für die Identität sansibarischer Muslime bedingt.
